Ubåten är nummer två i serien om tre fartyg. Den är byggd i skala 1:50 och är cirka en meter lång. Skrovet är i glasfiber och propellern är i mässing (hembyggd). Dykfunktionen hanteras av en "kolvtank" eller som en cykelpump ungefär. Delarna har plockats från pneumatiska cylindrar (kragar till pistonghuvuden). Drivspänning är 7.2V via två NiCad-celler.
This submarine is no. 2 in a class of 3 ships. The model shown here is 100 cm in total and modeled to a scale of 1:50. The hull is made of glassfibre(GRP) and the prop is made of brass all from his own production. The diving function is handled by the help of an acrylic piston tank propelled by a Graupner "Speed 400" motor. Further, a trim function with a servo pushing a lead weight is giving the model its necessary stability. The hull is opened by removal of the stern part. An aluminium bajonet lockis sealing the hull when running the submarine.
