renamed Express I when the Waxholm Steamboat Co. bought s/s "Brevik", who was
renamed "Express II".
During the years 1947-1951 Express I was serving the central archipelago, and
1951-1956 she served in the northern archipelago.
At the beginning of new year 1961 Express I was broken down at Hammarby Machine
Shops in Stockholm. Some of the ship´s interior was saved, namely the dining saloon
built up in mahogny, and is now part of the dining room in hotel Sjöfartshotellet,
Stockholm.

To be remeberd is a every year repeated ceremony when the steamer blew
departure signals on her steam whistle when passing through the narrow passage
at Waxholm, just to mark the end of summertrips for the year.
