  • Built in 1880 at
    Bergsunds Shipyard
    in Stockholm
    on speculation.

  • Length:32,4 meter.

  • Beam:6,3 meter.

  • Engine: 280 HP steamengine.

Since Bergsund not could sell the Victoria she started serving on the trades in central
Stockholm archipelago. The beautiful and for those days quite rapid ship was at last
bought by the Waxholm Steamship Co. Victoria became a populare summership and
at the end of the 19th century she was busy with pleasuretrips to Sandhamn and
Furusund.
In the following years up till 1941 she was serving the central archipelago. In 1941
Victoria was hit by a severe fire and a sad decision was taken to sell the ship.
In 1946 she was converted into a barge and later she was sold to be broken down.
With her ornamented ram-steam Victoria was the most outstanding of all arcipelago
steamers.
Pictures and more information regarding Victoria are gratefully received!
